The Latest: Podcaster fumes

Taking to Twitter, renowned Black Cats podcasters Roker Report fumed over the decision not to give a penalty to Sunderland midway through the second half, after it appeared that Roberts was taken down in the penalty area.

They raged: “Roberts is dragged down in the box, but the referee isn’t interested. Shocking decision.”

The Verdict: Costly for Sunderland

The decision not to give a penalty has ultimately cost Alex Neil’s team in the end, as they failed to take all three points from the Imps, having to settle for a 0-0 draw in the end.
