Everton fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Barcelona’s €30m(£26.58m) asking price for Andre Gomes, which has been reported by Mundo Deportivo.
The Portuguese international spent the entirety of the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Goodison Park and cemented himself as a fan favourite amongst the supporters, as a result of his composed, classy performance in midfield.

At 25 years of age, the former Valencia man is clearly a player of some pedigree and is definitely worth what the Spanish champions are asking for, especially in the modern market.
However, the Toffees are reportedly attempting to get Barcelona to lower that fee, a move which has not gone down too well with some supporters who are desperate to see Gomes sign on a permanent basis.
Others though, believe Everton should be taking their time over this deal and not simply buckling to the La Liga outfit’s demands.
