Liverpool fans have savaged Mohamed Salah because of his profligate performance against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
The Egypt international had 10 shots on goal at Wembley, per WhoScored, as Jurgen Klopp’s men lost on penalties to the Premier League champions following a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.

In total, from his 10 attempts at goal, just four of Salah’s were on target. He also hit the post twice and had four shots miss the target completely.
The 27-year-old also saw one effort cleared off the line by defender Kyle Walker, the England international volleying the ball away with a simply incredible bicycle kick.
Of course, Salah has been in electric form for the Reds throughout his spell at the club, scoring 71 goals in 104 games.
But his finishing deserted him on Sunday afternoon, leading to a number of fans criticising his end product against Pep Guardiola’s Blues.
